260se Owner Has Ozark Lodge
Just got an email from Mike Mills. He’s loving flying his new 260SE/STOL into his strip at his lodge in Ponca, Arkansas. Mike took delivery in mid-December of the Millennium Edition 260SE we built for Peter Minges some years ago. He asked that we come spend some time with him at his lodge and that I fly with him and teach him a few more “tricks” after he had a chance to familiarize himself with his bird. Jo and I, along with Chris Clemons in his Wren, and Kevin Moore when he comes to Kansas to visit, will all go down for a couple of days. Whether you want to float, horseback ride, fish, hike or shop, it is a fantastic place to visit. For those interested in the Ozarks of Arkansas we have Buffalo Outdoor Center in Ponca, AR. Web is buffaloriver.com. My strip is a mountain top (2330 elev.) which is 1200′. I am landing on the east end heading west….you’ll see if you ever fly here. GPS is N36 03 140, W93 22 036. Go arround is a climbing right turn watch for the powerlines 1/4 mile out. If you will let us know you coming we will meet you there. Cabins are a 1/2 mile away and we have ATV’s or pickup to loan. Thanks to Todd for including BOC in this page.
